It was a bad joke. But as soon as he was on Air Force One, he called the director of Special Olympics to apoloigize. While it was cool to see the personal side of the president, maybe Leno or Letterman is not the best place for the president to be speaking.

I love this town. You know if President Obama fails...this courtry will probably go into a depression. Whether you're Democrat or Republican everyone has had a hand in the way our economy is now. Why do people consistently want one party to fail. Whether you like it or not, President Obama set a plan to try and turn the economy around. What kind of satisfaction are you going to get if it does fail? Maybe you can high-five each other when your standing in the unemployment line. I want the President to succeed because if he does the country will succeed.

On Do you agree with Rush Limbaugh rooting for Obama to fail?

Yes Good luck JLK!! My wife and I are expecting twins in a few months due to an IVF treatment. A boy and a girl... Our doctor specificaly said that he would not put in more than two embryos because he didn't want to be on TV with the two of us and our 7 children. So at least our doctor is responsible.

This coach is as successful as they come. If he wants to get into D1, why does he have to go to someplace that is a start-up program? I am not saying that he be considered for a top tier job, but come on, why not a place in the Missouri Valley? As a Western fan I would love to see him get the job, but you can not deny that he is great man and great spokesperson for the MIAA.

Funny how the people of the neighborhood are touting the store owner as a martyr. Probably for trying to cover up the shoot out and not snitching.

When it comes to a public place such as a restraunt, the owners have a responibility to make their patrons comfortable and safe. So as far as private property rights, they vary on what you can do in the privacy of your own home. It's like saying that you don't have to follow the health regulations because it's on private property. I agree, some of the most busy restraunts in town are non smoking and I thank them for it. But when I go to Applebee's and the smoking section is in the middle of the restraunt, it defeats the purpose. I choose not to go to those places, but I shouldn't have to.

I have mixed feelings on smoking in a bar. Part of me thinks that you should expect that when you go to that kind of an establishment; like not having to smell it when you spend $20 on a meal only to have the smells of Marborol's mix with your ribs. But while I do not go to bars as much as I used to I wonder, do the people who don't smoke deserve the same treatment as the people who go to restraunts? I have already stated that I don't smoke, so my opionin in biased. But when I go to a bar in KC and it's all non smoking and the Power and Light District is packed, I feel that it would still be able to work here.

How dare they put the movie times in this paper. They promote violence and sex. Why is it that people think that just because you read about alcohol you will become an alcoholic or play video games that you will blow things up. It's called common sense. Most people have it, the ones who don't place the blame on the media. Boo freaking hoo!
