If I recall (trying to jog my memory here) there was also timing issue relating to the decision and allocation of funds. Proposed projects needed the necessary feasibility and preparation work as with any project which pretty much only left projects that was already in the pipeline with some of the groundwork in process already.
The application fee is around $500 to $5,000 ...directly from Baldrige...the bottom line results include "Higher return on assets" "Increased market share" "Lowered costs and increased revenue" Just visit their site and read the application.
Truman?? That would not be your first choice rather KU or St. Luke's Even better how about halfway closer at St. Luke's Northland. Been there done that. They have many wonderful employees, but there are also many occasions of incompetence and issues with within the organization. Reaching yet another financial goal...how close are they to loosing their not-for-profit status?
Where was this standard of excellence the time I was forgotten in the ER and a friend/employee had to go and find the ER staff, or wheeled into a room so rampant with the stench of urine my family had to insist on it being cleaned first, or maybe when I woke up from surgery and told a particular organ was removed to find out later I still have it or the time I was bleeding all over the place and had to find my own sheets to stop the bleeding....well then I was taken seriously. This is why I will rather drive an hour south even if my life depended on it. My favorite was the SD Surgery nurse that tried 3 times to give me an IV and placed the bloody needles and tubes in the regular trash, forget about biohazard.

Mayor makes appearance on "Fox & Friends"
Foster's is a great establishment, clean and smoke free. The owners have worked just as hard as any other business owner. I am a loyal supporter!

Heartland gets national recognition
Yet little more than a year ago in this very paper Heartland admitted to not hitting the mark. Have all these issues have been addressed and improved?
