Don't forget about "The Dark Knight" for Best Picture. Since the Academy has already acknowledged films like "The Lord of the Rings," it's finally time for the Academy to give a comic movie some love.

Plus, if they don't, you'll have one ticked off reporter here, too.

devinbroncs123, While I haven't been a fan of Metallica's since the very beginning (I was born in 1981), I have been ever since hearing "One" for the first time and worked my way back through their catalogue.

While they're last few albums post-"Black Album" (and "Garage Inc.") are good, I wouldn't quite put them in the same standing as a "Master of Puppets," "And Justice For All" or "Ride the Lightning." "St. Anger" was good and very aggressive, but I think you agree that it didn't showcase the musicianship that we both know these guys are capable of.

To me, "My Apocalypse" is a return to a form and a promising example of what made them such a force to be reckoned with in the first place.

I'm just excited to get their new album and to see these guys live again, where they never fail to deliver.
