call me ishmael, but this seems to be a last frantic toss of the harpoon from our mayor into what he perceives to be an enemy, one that has eluded him for four years. Hopefully Ahab goes no farther in politics, so have fun with this while you can!!
the boy keeps campainging, but doesn't take his job. he lives in a fantsasy world where he is the prophet of things to come and all should listen without question. Now he has been questioned and feels a bit frustrated. Maybe he should speak slower for the rest of us to understand. Help us understand how the government can make things better by taking control of the health care system. How the government can make all better.
why should we be so pressed for time to make such a change to our system? why is the boy so quick to say we need it in two weeks...why not four weeks, why not four months? let's hash this out with no deadline so we can get it right.
grandpacory....the answer is........42, yes 42. being a pink floyd fan, I think I would go with surrealism, dada just seems uncool.
maybe baghead could get a job? get out of dragging cans in a bag, sell those cans my friend, and live the american dream? get his own apartment, or maybe take a "journalistic tour" of the US. baghead in vermont, or massachusettes,,,baghead takes on OBAMA care..that is a good one.
If alonzo wants to have an avatar speak his own ideology, he should be a bit more creative.
interesting you reference ole jeff....he had pie in the sky aspirations for this town, and made some of that true. What this town needs now are new ideas, from new people, from the outside of the empire. Keep questioning the establishment, Kim. It is what this town needs.
I would propose that "pouting", rather Mr. Weston is a sad sack. poor me, poor me." I wonder if that is on the album from steve hall. This whole idea of self entitlement is pervasive amont those that feel they were wronged for some reason. Stand up and do it right next year! Advertise.
The whole pervasive ideology that one is kept down because of "the man" or government is simply an expression of one's own deficiencies whether real or perceived.
he just ran on his name, no substance, that I could find in print. fortunately we have a city manager/professional ran government, can you imagine having a mayor that has his biggest aspiration “I have a good attendance record, so I’ll be there to hear all the issues.” Oh, and I have fireworks!!
the tea partiers only address a small subsection of what is corrupt with our society today. a good start, but not comprehensive.
ibc, a significant step involves not only supporting the politicians that "seem to" share the same values in elections, but to put the people who really have those values into office. what makes this difficult is that it costs $ to even get elected for a small city post, and billions to be even considered for presidency. there are matching funds, but the interest groups and pacs make it almost impossible for grass roots common sense people to get into office.
if we really want to change, it will require a reformation.
and lets not get started how the house bill for health care reform does not include the "union/labor" caviar plans as being part of the plan or restricted. the unions and dems are in the same bed. to put it simply, really good insurance that you have already would be taxable, unless you are in a union tax plan
Shearin wants to review Capell

while it is easy to type beliefs, and aspirations, it is another to do actions.
what say you!! ibc, deadbleedred, joe freedom, dude.
would you join me in actions? non-violent of course, but anti-progressive for sure.
actions would be organizing groups just like the tea partiers, only local. bring your friends, both libs and republicans because both are wrong!!
