It is suspicious that these schools have results that are so low. The reason may not be all on the schools, though.
Has anyone considered the possibility that some responsibility falls to the parents of these kids, and yes, the students themselves?

Ladies and gentlemen, this has NOTHING to do with healthcare.
This is just a cheap ploy for a Big Brother government to control a very important and personal aspect of your life. Take control away from the free market, put it in the hands of government. Those who suckle the teat of Big Brother will continue to vote for the looting party, thus ensuring almost a permanent dominance in the White House and both sides of the Hill.
Nowhere (so far) in the U.S. or Missouri Constitutions does it say getting your medical bills paid for is a right. In fact, employers are not even obligated to offer insurance benefits. It's a benefit offered to attract qualified candidates to enhance their company.
Do you really want an entity running the healthcare system that tries to sell cars, takes over banks, determines what salary a job is worth (your job might be next), amd attempts to educate our children?
I hope my son isn't too mad at me when his generation is paying for the FUBAR now being created.

Kaden has my thoughts, prayers and hopes for a full recovery from his trauma. It is heartbreaking when a child has to endure what he is.
Ms. luvingaunt, I beg to differ with you. Making sure a child is buckled in at all times IS a controllable situation.
Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles PLEASE make sure the precious ones who depend on you for their safety are secured safely in your car. Coming up on a crash and putting a sheet over a child (or adult) is horrendous.
For those that dispute the usefullness of safety devices, think what you will. We'll have a sheet ready for you.

Why do so many people think health care is a right? It isn't and shouldn't be. NOWHERE in the U.S. or Missouri Constitutions does it say "You have the right to have healthcare provided to you and paid for by others."
My spouse and I work and are fortunate to have decent health coverage for us and our child. Yeah, we pay quite a bit for our part of the premiums. Employers offer insurance plans to attract prospective employees to their business. It is a BENEFIT, not an OBLIGATION.
Do I want to be forced to pay for the "right" of healthcare for others? Heck no. Do I want to be forced into a system that is not of my own choosing? Not on my (literal) life.
Soooooooo....if my MySpace page features microwavable tasty nutritious treats I can get ANY job?

The feces-for-brains was DWI. As far as I'm concerned that should be another state execution right there (yeah, radical, but so what?). If this moron wasn't texting he just might have seen the pretty red and blue lights in front of him (if they weren't activated they sure as heck should have been).
Texting takes away from driving concentration. Whether it should be legislated, I don't know. Some say there are too many laws as it is, but many laws are enacted to protect us from others' stupidity.
Is 400 - 500 feet in the air a poor euphemism for being high?
On Motorist strikes police cars
Most safety-related laws are enacted to protect people from their own stupidities. Simple facts (and common sense) show that a motorcyclist involved in a moderate (and maybe even is a low) speed collision and not wearing a helmet is going to be fornicated-up at best. The insurance companies are right to not want to spend millions (i.e. your premiums) on someone who splatters their brains without reasonable protection.

It is ironic that we are all getting so anal about a behind.
