Tigersfan,
Did you go to Memphis? You can't possibly have gone to Missouri with some of your logic. Being in the insurance business makes you a professional finger pointer? What the heck does that mean? Mr. Shores was my parent's agent and a very good fellow. As we can see, eliquent and very well spoken as well. I'm impressed that you and ninja are buddying up on the same level here.
Most families can make due with a $416.66 credit per month for health care. Far better than we have now. I was aware it wasn't per person as I have seen McCain's plan and how it is stated, so only one of us was having their truth stretched. Checking back on history ninja, the last two elections, the inventor of the internet, Al Gore in 2000 and John Kerrey in 2004 had larger leads than Obama does at this point. Ut oh, watch out! McCain's got him right where he wants him.

Nice call, apmastrangelo. Whacking the rich with taxes serves no purpose because in the long run it cuts down business size, so they can make payroll and costs with reduced income. Thus, larger unemployment since they have to get rid of you to make up for their deficit. I also love how Obama keeps saying employers are going to foot the bill for health care. Come on, please hire an economist. More cost for health care to the employer means one thing. Eliminate the employee. The burden has to be taken by the government if your going to socialize health care, and that means we will pay for it anyway. The $5000 credit that McCain proposes is much more sensible. As for the idiocy of saying "McCain will giveth, then taketh away", taxing the health care will affect the avg American $0-900 of the credit. Thats still a $4100 credit, even if you need that much. Please open your eyes people. We can't revolt, so make good choices. Start with eliminating socialized America. Change is not always good. Obama would be in that group.

MichaelH,
I can't argue with you! But the lesser of two evils is what I'm shooting for. Nice six degrees of separation Rockchalk. The demos had to come up with some lame associations to compete with a terrorist, a racist Reverend and a slumlord partner. And ninja, if Obiden gets elected, I won't be able to afford to eat my words. All my middle class money will be going toward taxes to pay for all of Obama's social services.
On Biden to stop in St. Joseph
Maybe if we were to coin a phrase from the 2000 movie "Waterboy" starring Adam Sandler and Fonzie:
"You can do it" we could get this ship righted.
We just need to have government start to work for and with the people, instead of just "with the people's money".
Ninja,
I hate to keep picking on you, but you keep aiming at the people who care about America. I think you need to sharpen your sword! Please share all of these lies that the "republicans and non-party folk" as you call them, are telling about Obama. The only lies being told are about his past relationships, and those are by him. And if you don't think his judgment in whom he associates with is important, then just don't drink any of the koolaid they bring out at his next rally. The biggest lie in the whole election? I will approve tax cuts for the middle class. Funny promise from an individual (Obama) who has never once, (and that means never ever, none, notta) voted for such a cut in his time of service (if you wanna call it that)to the people. How about another lie? John McCain will give the wealthy a $700,000 tax cut. The cut is already in place. He isn't initiating or giving it to them. Not all of them make $12.8 million annually either, which is where you have to be to get that cut. There are so many more lies that the messiah, Obama, is feeding the people, but he is basing his platform on those, so I thought I would enlighten you are those. Who's telling lies?
Good job by all three of you. Maybe we have potential representatives in the making here. Oh wait, that would mean you would sit around doing nothing while the country panics into shambles. Nevermind. I think Mr. Shores makes some fabulous points, but I think xanzzz has hit a home run with one point. It is a product of both parties sucking at doing their jobs. We send our reps out for fun in the sun and b.s with all their bureaucratic buddies year after year, spending our money to put us in this position. We need to clean house and even when you do that you get the same junk to replace it. You become a senator or representative not to serve the people, but for economic opportunities that the average American will never even know. We produce less than the rest of the world with much better people. So what is the problem? We are a lazy, greedy country! Ask anyone that works any where about the work ethic today. It has dropped dramatically. We expect the government, or our union, or mommie or daddy to take care of everything. That's what makes Obama so appealing. The lazy worker loves hearing that government is going to step in and take care of health care, taxes , education, etc. But it won't happen. Promises are made election after election and never kept. How quickly we forget , but optimism sounds so promising. Obama wants you to think he will change all the evil that Bush has done. As both Mr. Shores and xanzzz stated, his party created as much as anyone. People need to wake up. He has never once voted for tax decreases for the middle class in his short stint in office. That is one of his major selling points of his platform! Why would he change know?
Tigersfan,
I really hate picking at you because of your name, but......A person's past is an indicator of what they will do in the future. Do you want a president that has a "seedy" past based on the Ayers, Wright and Rezco relationships and dealings? It just shows bad judgment and the propensity to do with whom ever, what is in his radical interest, versus the interest of millions of Americans. McCain has to come across more honest and with more integrity to you. You have to believe with what he has been through for his country that he is the one more apt to do what he has to to right the ship. Wouldn't you rather trust someone like that with your future and the future of lil tiger fans everywhere?

Let us agree to disagree....If I were being spoon fed as you call it, I would think Obama was the messiah. The liberal media only brings out the good and not the bad. Ayers and Obama both have funding ties to ACORN. And you are correct that Ayers was wanting to blow the "rich man" up in the 60's, but he still has the same radical viewpoints today without the actions of the 60's. Sorry, but guilty by association. I'm sure Rev. Wright was only a racist against "the man" back in 60's as well. I'm sure the home purchase from slumlord Rezco was just conjured up as well. Obama has a long history of hanging with unsavory people, not, believe it or not, made up by the media.

Looks like ACORN has now hit Viginia as well. "Steal" is the key word guys. What an appropriate headline!
