Newman,
You must be referring to the religious right scientific studies. Because all the medical studies that I have read says that gay and lesbians were born that way. I have a friend of mine that can remember when he was in the 3rd grade being attracted to the same sex. If it was a choice, why would a boy at such a young age choose to be gay?

Just to let you know that being gay is not a lifestyle. That is the way they were born. A lifestyle is ones mode of living according to thier habits, attitudes, and tastes. Someone traveling the world, someone going to the bars everynight, a sports figure that is a lifestyle.

If good ol Charlie said it probably would have passed in the Seante then why not go ahead and give them the resolution? Bigotry is still alive and well.

I commend the officers for getting the scumbag of the street. Just something to think about. The Police Department's higher ups that decided to punish the officers when there was no complaint made against them may have just opened up an easy lawsuit. The dirtbag sues and the PD has already declared the officers did something wrong. Sounds like and easy win in court. I hate scumbags.

Brenda I know just how you feel. I had my Rottie Chelsea for 8 years and she was my kid. I had to take her to the vet one day due to her panting and pacing all day. I then had to take her to the Overland Park Hospital because they couldn't treat her here. I knew she had cancer but prayed for the best. After getting her home and getting the call that she did indeed have cancer I knew the right thing to do was put her down. I was with her until the end. I cried more the week before than anytime after. I cherish the time I had with her and will remember her always as will you with Peanut. Another will come along as did in my case. I have another Rottie named Zeus and although he will never take Chelsea's place he has found a place in my heart and no other dog will ever take his place.

It used to make me so mad when people around town would say that the Air Guard doesn't do or go anywhere dangerous. I was in the Guard for 20 years, 9 of which were in the Security Police Squadron. I hope and pray they all come home in one piece. I personnally know John Beaver and he cares about his men and women and will do all he can to see they are safe.

I am 46 and have been going there since I was a little kid. I remember Pete being there years ago. Pete and Pam did a great job at making the D&G what it is. And who can forget Donna and Joyce going 90 mph. Oh that Donna, what a character. I will truly miss them all.

On It just won’t be the same without the D&G around
