If what is posted by mom2809 is true I think rather than handouts and pity we need to educate this family and teach them how to handle finance and prioritize.
This is going to be a vicious cirle that never ends. you can see that the children have already started the same lifestyle.
Education will last a lifetime. Handouts enable people to continue as they have been. I am not saying to judge these people, I am saying we have got to teach people, as I do my children, you reap what you sew. We bring on a lot of what happens to us by our actions.
When you are making money and doing well you MUST plan ahead and save because yes everyone could be in this position, but it is not up to anyone to bail you out, you have to work hard and through hard work and yes some pain and suffer and lots of prayer you can make things better.
Things you work for are always better than things just handed to you. And it also means sacrifice.

I do believe that there is room on the road for all. The main thing is that everyone has to follow the rules. The insurance is a big thing though. If a person on a scooter happens to be the cause of an accident they should have the means to pay for what they have done, be it small damage or major.....it is still damage that cost the auto owner.
If the rule is you have to be licensed then so be it. It is the law abide by it.
The thing is scooters are not toys and they can cause damage to the riders and others so they need to be treated as a vehicle. They are not for children to be riding with no supervision anywhere they want.
I am for saving money on gas but also know we need to follow the laws and insurance should be considered as well.
I have no problem with legal scooters and the use of them if they are following all laws.

How do these people live with themselves. Surely you have no mirrors in your home.....how could you look at yourself?

I cannot think of what kind of person would enter a house of God and do such a thing. I am sure when the time comes they will have to answer for their sins.
Maybe these people should enter the church on Sunday from the front door and attend a service. Look the children who you stole from in the eye and pray for forgiveness.

I wonder why we spend the money to make the laws when they are not enforced. Underage with a cigarette....ticket that seems simple! If attempt to litter is something you can charge for lets do that as well!

Speed bumps are not possible on Mason road. People drive Mason road as if it were the interstate. I feel that the speed limit signs are for me not just everyone else so I dont speed therefore do not fear the radar. I figure too if I do make the mistake and speed I am at fault and am due the consequences. I just dont want to pay the fines of speeding not only monetary or having to live with the fact of hurting someone else from my being foolish. Maybe the police officers will take the information from the radar data and find the areas that need their attention most.
