Can someone help me understand how disagreeing with Obama wining a Nobel Prize based on 11 days in office has anything todo with Saint Joseph Being stuck in the past? seems like when there is no real reason for people to support something then they must attack those who realy do have merit on this disagreement.

having illegal immigrants here is modern day slavery, you would not let little own expect law enforcement to sit by and let slavery happen so why continue to let them be here and abused by corporations. fine the corporations and get these people back across the border! oh and not just a southern thing but both borders and our ports should be secure!

Why do we compare the pay of firefighters to police? I don’t see a ton of people heading down town to city hall to volunteer to risk their lives for either one of these thankless positions. They currently make less than $16.00 per hour. Leaving their family for holidays, birthday, and other events just to run to false alarms, to save someone who jumps from a bridge and yes stop a fire that most likely you caused. Before you attack the firefighters remember obviously you won’t do the job or you would be working at the fire station. Since you are not; how about not making comments about a profession you know nothing about.

Yeah "ksmith" I hope you have never got a parking ticket, then you should not be able to park in public spaces, you know you were at fault and could have hurt someone!

I would like to say that it is always nice to see four law enforcement agencies able to work well together and get at least partial closure the same day. Also have those of you that are concerned with numbers ever thought that maybe 2-3 robbed the person and one person drove the car? Hate to look at the article rationally but...

they need to decide public funding or gate admissions, we pay twice and the funding does not all stay within the festival AAC uses it for day to day expenses, not to mention a ticket to see a show at the Missouri theatre is $16 a broadway ticket for starlight is only $9 WOW seems like they need the cash.

Why is the News-Press so concerned about the unions problems and not questioning or detailing the 130 million budget that the council is proposing up to 130 mil from 98mil in two years WOW . ...sounds like something the News Press would over look... or maybe they cant find the detailed budget from two years ago.
