unless the policy has been changed in the last six months, the landfill will inform you that you can not use a truck with dual wheels on the rear axle for the clean sweep.

music4602, I feel for you. I can remember practicing Kiwanis football back in the early seventies at that little ball park and smelling that foul stinch. You are absolutely right, that poor house on the corner. Nice looking home but the odor will come right through your car, even with windows up and vents closed..........has been that way ever since I can remember. Now what about this new odor that has popped up over the last year and half or so. Some mornings I will walk out of the house in the northend and that smell will even greet me at work near the Belt and 36th street. It's even in the buildings. What's it from?

On Eww ... just what is that smell?

Well stated pops. Bring the levy back in August with a sunset clause and I'll change my vote too, but please stop telling me I was influenced by outside sources. First of all, I had made my decision long before Reeder got going. Second of all for every vote no commercial I saw on TV there were 20 telling me to vote yes, so give me break on the big, bad outside influence with their negative campaign.

Ms. Frakes, I understand your concern for an additional school out east but what I am opposed to is shutting down our other neighborhood schools in order to serve the eastside. Contrary to Melody Smith's and the School Board's opinion, there is still a large population of children in Midtown and Northside. I'm all for building a school out east, but leave our schools alone. There are plenty of us who prefer these old, character filled buildings with their million dollar tax paid updates and additions.

Some of you people amaze me. Both sides. Just because someone doesn't vote the way you do they are "uncaring fools with small packages and little grey matter." I am voting no twice because of how I view the mismanagement of the budget. Especially in a time of economic crisis as we have in the world today. This is not the time. We just spent millions on updating and enlarging these same schools that they now want to close down. Melody Smith wants you to answer why you would allow someone from out of town telling you what to do.....well who is she but someone from out of town telling you what to do?

Yes I will vote..............NO twice! Why would anyone vote for a tax to be permanent...NEVER having to go before the tax payers again? School Board, put a little more effort and thought into the proposed bonds next time instead of hurrying it up and tryin to strong arm it through. Remember, it is EFFORT that makes a good student not the building.

If they're putting the bridge that far north, just save the money and have the emergency responders hop on 36 and take the Stockyards Expressway.............this makes no sense.
