Michael Jackson was a music legend and icon. He will always be one of the most influential musicians of my generation. He has died and it's time to celebrate his life and what he has left us with, his music and dance, if not for his name but for his children. The only reason he was going to do the 50 concerts this year was so his kids could see what he does and what his legacy is rather than all the scandal that they had to be around constantly.

On a side note: There will not be a fireworks display at Lake Contrary; due to the level of toxic chemicals in the lake have making the entire lake flammable and fear of it actually catching on fire has caused the cancellation of the firework display.
